About Me
The 2014-2015 academic school is my seventh year at John Muir Middle School and I am excited to be here! I have taught 6th grade math, 6th Accelerated, 7th grade math, 8th grade math, Algebra 1 and 8th grade intervention. I graduated in 2005 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor of science in Computer Science. I worked for Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, IL for three years before answering the call to be a math teacher. Although my two brothers and I were born in the Chicago suburbs, we're all over the place now. One is a data administrator at the San Jose Unified School District central office and the other is a third year law student at Harvard while my parents live in North Carolina.
